The Bachelor’s degree program is divided into two study phases (semesters 1-2: assessment phase and semesters 3-6: Bachelor’s phase): In the first semesters in particular, you will take various compulsory courses. This will give you an initial overview of the world of business, basic methodological and economic knowledge and fundamental data science skills. By the beginning of the third semester at the latest, you will choose a specialization (Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Systems and Business Education) that matches your interests. At the same time, you can take modules from a specific interdisciplinary field of study from the first semester onwards. At the end of the Bachelor’s degree course, you will write a Bachelor’s thesis.
-
Fields of Study
The fields of study consist of the introductory module in the first semester and five further modules from the third semester onwards. Students can choose one of ten possible fields of study regardless of their choice of specialization. In contrast to the specializations, the fields of study have an interdisciplinary focus. This gives students the opportunity to specialize in particular areas of work or to prepare for a specific Master’s degree course.
