The Master’s degree program for working professionals in Organizational Development and Human Resources lasts two years and teaches practice-oriented concepts and methods. The focus lies on specific issues taken from real-life operations. The aim is to improve graduates’ practical skills in the area of organizational development and human resources. What is the degree program about?
Organizational Development and Human Resources is a Master’s degree program which is studied alongside work via self-study, classroom events and project work. During the course, students draw on practical and relevant examples from their professional experience.
The aim of the degree program is to provide students with methods to improve their skills in organizational development and human resources. Theoretical aspects are directly linked with practical examples, enabling students to master new tasks in their professional environment. Research elements help students gain a better understanding of organizational structures and improve their analysis and reflection skills.
The degree program focuses on practical application, relating to the students’ individual professional experience.

The degree program is offered in a modular structure. It comprises 14 attendance phases (a total of 36 days, 14 of which are Saturdays) These attendance phases are scheduled over three days (Thursday to Saturday) every one to three months, and lectures are mainly held during this time.
During the degree program for working professionals, students also explore selected practical areas in depth. Students choose two from four elective modules depending on their previous experience and practical background. -
The degree program is aimed at university graduates from various disciplines with professional experience in areas of organizational development and human resources who would like to gain more in-depth knowledge and who value professional development with a practical focus (e.g. HR officers, managers, people responsible for processes of change or consulting for organizations).
It also appeals to people who would like to specifically prepare for taking on tasks in this field. -

Students can incorporate their new learning into their professional everyday work even while they are still studying. - Flexible structure of studies: Our learning arrangements with only a few attendance phases and various self-study materials allow you to determine when you would like to study You have the freedom to study as and when it suits you: at home, at work and at university. With approximately 30 attendance days spread over two years, attendance is kept both manageable and effective. This allows for the perfect combination of work and studying. In most states within Germany, employees are entitled to take time off work in order to pursue continuing education. - Internationally recognized qualification: The Master’s degree is an internationally recognized qualification that opens new career opportunities and improves your employment opportunities. The knowledge and expertise you acquire makes you an important point of contact in your company. In addition, obtaining the Master’s degree qualifies you to pursue a doctoral degree.

Formal admission requirements are a successfully completed degree program at a university or a university of applied sciences and at least one year of work experience after graduationg. If the formal admission requirements are met, a selection interview is held to decide on admission to the degree program.
